I am writing this letter to endorse Kim Alan for Iowa County Sheriff. Kim's credentials as a dedicated public servant, serving both as a law enforcement officer and a supervisor of the Iowa County Board, show that she understands the role of the Sheriff as well as the needs of Iowa County. As the former Nursing Home Administrator for Bloomfield Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, I was able to work closely with Kim and found her to be a caring, compassionate, intelligent woman who was willing to listen to and consider all sides of an issue. Kim was an avid supporter of keeping Bloomfield Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center open and evidenced this by her vote against closure of our beloved Iowa County Nursing Home. She is truly invested in the needs of our community and worked very hard to try and find a way to keep Bloomfield Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center open. She demonstrated that she cares deeply and has worked very hard to better our community. Her dedication to professionalism and being a positive voice for the Iowa County residents won my support.
As Sheriff, I believe she will be a true advocate for all and will function in this role with the best interests of Iowa County in mind. I feel that she is the best candidate for this position, and I hope that you join me in supporting her and vote for her on November 8.
