Recently I was listening to someone talking hard, fast and loud about the environment and energy. I had to listen because it would have been difficult to add to the conversation, hard to get a word in edgewise. I listened for a little bit before I left, and one of the things the hard, fast and loud talker said: "...what are the farmers going to do?...".
The farmers can watch the baseball game while the tractor drives back and forth in the fields without a person driver. If cars can drive on the streets without a person driver, tractors could drive in the fields without a person driver. However, an inning might be missed to refuel the tractor. A hydrogen fuel tractor could get 'green' hydrogen fuel from nearby 'green' hydrogen fuel production with electricity and water. Electrolysis is a process that splits the hydrogen from the water, and the electricity can come from surplus wind turbines and solar PV panel electricity. 'Green' hydrogen fuel made with 'green' electricity could be made on the farm. Hydrogen fuel tractors can be seen on the internet. However, remember the Hindenberg airship.
