Covid as of Labor Day 2021


Dear Editor;
I just assumed that by now "we" (the U.S.) would have Covid under control by I was sadly mistaken. Just read the following statistics which I'll share:
This Labor Day weekend, the 7-day average of new coronavirus cases was more than 4 times higher than it was on Labor Day 2020, according to data from John Hopkins University (JHU).
Covid-related deaths have also increased, according to JHU. And the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services reports that Covid-related hospitalizations have gone up too.
