Parents of the Mineral Point volleyball team went home happy Monday after the Pointers played everyone in a three game sweep of Southwestern,
The Pointers breezed to wins of 25-17, 25-16 and 25-13. Coach Kari Kabat was pleased with the Pointers the entire night.
"Tonight was a great night for our girls," Kabat said. "We were able to get everyone in the match and it was a great team win for our Parent's Night crowd."
Kabat felt it was a team win for the Pointers.
"The people coming in did a nice job of taking care of the ball," the coach said. "I am happy with how Olivia Wendhausen came in and played very consistently for us tonight as well as Mackenzie Aurit put up some nice sets for our hitters. Southwestern is dealing with some quarantine issues, so it was not their full squad tonight either. It made it a great night to get everyone some playing time."
