Just say no to contracts of 172 industrial wind turbines

Dear Editor;
We are plagued by an Industrial Waste Land in Southern Wisconsin by big International Companies wanting to make money and destroy our Driftless Area! We have soil 5 feet deep without a rock in it where they have scraped it then put gravel on it piled it up and sold it to cities many miles away. This is to never have 1) a farm 2) Tourism 3) Diftless Area 4) Beautiful Topography of Southern Wisconsin to come back to its original state! We have wind turbines proposed of up to 800 feet tall of 172 Industrial Wind Turbines in Iowa and Lafayette county. There have been proposed 17 Industrial Wind Turbines around Livingston, Wisconsin of Grant County like an electric fence. It will destroy the Driftless Area (nowhere in the world is there an area that has not been glaciated and with these kinds of plants and animal species). These companies bring a 60 to 300 pages contract to the landowner where they have a gag rule that they cannot talk about the contract to anyone. It takes away farming, beautiful driftless land, tourism, businesses, communities, towns, cities, etc. by not telling them the truth and after they sign it is very difficult to get out of the contract and not as much money in the contract given to them as they thought but more of their land take away. If companies sell the contract to other companies they may receive only half the amount owed and it can be sold 5 times to different companies. I believe in green energy but the only thing green in these Industrial Wind Turbines is the money it makes the company.
Unfortunately, landowners have found they did not receive the amount of money they were promised. These companies are not written for the landowner but the company that makes up the contract.
