First set to Dodgers, rest to Hornets

Dodgeville took the first set but the rest of the SWC match Tuesday belonged to the host Hornets.
Richland Center regrouped and took three straight from the Dodgers to win 3-1
"We came out strong and took the first set from RC, which felt good," said coach Kristi Bramlett. "Our girls are really starting to settle in to the rotation and are swinging hard. Our blocks are improving and my back row defenders are communicating and moving so well on the court."
The Hornets are the second place team in the SWC behind Platteville. Bramlett feels the girls are showing improvement as the season winds down.
"Olivia and Rylee Forsyth continue to impress me with how much they have improved this season," she said.
"We started the second set off strong but then our libero went down and was taken out of the game for a bit which messed with the girls heads. After that we struggled to find our groove and serve receive, which is usually our strong suit, and was rough for us to get out of," Bramlett said. "We played tough tonight and just fell short."
