There is an invasion!

Dear Editor;
You may have seen the ads and billboards depicting vulture capitalists.
My friends have chosen this creature because that is what we have scavengering through Iowa and Lafayette County farmlands. They find their prey, consume them, own them, then fly away to the next prey, you, the farmers. If I would try to find them, I cannot. They don't want to see me. But, if you are a farmer, when the vultures come to you, resist them, shoo them away until they are willing to come out in public to open discussion, instead of secrecy offering long contracts that control your farmlands and include "gag" orders.
Only the farmers and landowners who resist the wind turbine solicitors can stop this invasion. If the vultures succeed -----on come the wind turbine invaders.
Sadly, our current state laws allow this kind of invasion, without public knowledge or participation. The public should have a say (in a democracy) as to how they want their state (Wisconsin) to function. Our government, the law makers, and the corporations should not be able to just say that these monster wind turbines are good for the climate catastrophe, since there are too many ways that they will harm our Wisconsin communities.
Even in a comparison with fossil fuels, the production and maintenance costs of these turbines produce very little gain on the CO2 reduction.
These wind turbines are sometimes referred to as Green Energy. They are very Green($) for the companies that are promoting them, and, I'll remind you again that it is our Green($) that pays for all of our energy sources. Calling these turbine enterprises Green, could instead actually be called Greed enterprises. Some people are making the Big $, while the majority of us are paying the bill.
There is an action that we all can take. An upcoming open meeting with our Wisconsin legislators is in the planning, place and time to be determined shortly. Information, education and promotion of laws that can work for the public, can be accomplished. Watch for the meeting notice.
