What's there to lose?

Dear Editor;
If I sell out to the wind turbine people, I can make $375 an acre off my land. That's double what I make off my hay ground and six times what I get for pasture. I wouldn't have to plant, fertilize, harvest, or fix fence. No more worries about machinery maintenance, market prices, or the weather. I could just sit around and listen to the whoosh, whoosh, whoosh of the turbine blades all day long and watch the red blinkety blinks at night.
What's there to lose? Just the access to my land, the good health of my neighbors, and maybe my soul.
