Dear Editor;
It is a shame that too many Republican senators choose to not impeach this ex president, to keep him from ever running for public office again. There's many reasons why:
1. He cheated on his three wives
2. He directed his ex lawyer to pay two women $130,000 each to keep quiet before his 2016 election
3. He has lied over 30,000 times
4. He has a niece and sister who call him a pathetic liar and very self-centered
5. He lowered tax rates on corporations and billionaires and later said he helped his friends
6. He refused to show his tax records. Now that they have been released, you cannot say your property is worth so much when borrowing against it and then it's only worth part of that when paying property taxes
7. He calls the free press fake
8. He gases peaceful demonstrations so he can go on church steps to hold a Bible upside down and not his Bible
9. He admires the dictators of Russia, China and North Korea
10. He called American soldiers who volunteer, suckers and those who died for our country, losers
11. He is responsible for the Jan. 6th assault on our capitol
12. Never has a president caused so much hate and division
13. He is a wannabe dictator
Certainly the Republican party has better choices to run in 2024. There has never been a president more deserving to be impeached and the Republican senators should be ashamed. We should all be ashamed of his record.
