Dear Editor;
I find it odd the outrage and shock over the news this past week of a newborn baby girl, in Albany Wisconsin who was found left to die in the elements... In states like New York where abortion is legal up to the time of delivery (which would be the same age as this WI baby girl minus 1 day) you would think to see the same type of outrage but you don't...
In this crazy year of Covid 19 where we hear: the elderly in nursing homes lives matter, our senior's lives matter, black lives matter, police lives matter and the list goes on, can we all just come together and unify saying "ALL LIVES MATTER"!
For desperate women in similar circumstances as this teen in Albany WI, please be aware that all 50 states have "Safe Haven Laws". These allow in WI a newborn less than 3 days old to be anonymously left at: police, fire stations or hospitals without any criminal consequences.
LET'S UNIFY AND SAY, "ALL LIVES MATTER".
