Two lines to get COVID vaccine

Dear Editor;
If you live in Iowa County and you would like to receive a COVID vaccination, you should know that there are at least two separate entities giving the shots.
Not ONE....TWO. Upland Hills Health and the Iowa County Health Department are each operating separate immunization programs. So, if you called UHH and got on their list (as I did some weeks ago) and you think you've done everything you can to get in line for a shot, you're wrong. There are TWO lines - one operated by UHH and another operated by ICHD. To get on the ICHD list, call 608-930-9870.
I wish I had more time to research this, but it's Tuesday morning near the Chronicle's deadline. Perhaps this seeming inefficiency is something the Chronicle could investigate and report on more fully.
