We're so grateful that Upland Hills Health continues to be a bright light in our community.
On Wednesday my husband was able to have cataract surgery in the beautiful surgical area, where all went well with friendly, professional staff and a highly skilled surgeon.
On Saturday we got our first covid shots there, after being on the waiting list for less than two weeks. Our second ones are scheduled for one month from now.
We were impressed with how well organized they were. Staff were stationed along a path on two floors, dealing with an ongoing masked and distanced line of people, whose appointments were spaced just right, so there was an even flow. They took insurance, health, and drug information, gave the shot, and spaced us all out for a 15 minute wait in case of a reaction, before we left with extra information about the vaccine, possible side effects, etc.
After hearing that Wisconsin wasn't doing well with getting the vaccine administered compared to other states, we thought we'd have to wait months to get it, so this was a wonderful surprise!
