Dear Editor;
In light of recent events and Thanksgiving, we must reject hate, embrace brotherly love, and be thankful for life in the USA. We all bleed red and are united as one under the Constitution and sublime Latin phrase on our currency - e plurbus unum - out of many one. I served in the brotherhood of combat arms as a protector of our precious life-affirming document of rights and freedom. My drill sergeant was black, a fine example of a man and leader.
Racists are stupid. It also doesn't take a single working brain cell to call someone racist without evidence.
Wisdom is proven right by its children. I ask people to consider identity politics and the profound lack of wisdom it has. Its outcome is clear - division and hatred.
Content of character is the only measure of a person. We must remove from influential positions those who try others in the court of public opinion, and cancel guaranteed rights and laws that are vital for civil society. I wish everyone a blessed and joyful Holiday and praise God and his son Jesus Christ.
