Pattern Energy Did a Dog Eat Your Homework?

Dear Editor;
In late July after Pattern Energy held an informational open house for their Uplands Wind project, a group of concerned citizens asked to have their questions answered in writing. As of today, there has been no answers given by Pattern Energy, so I guess it's the dog's fault. They have offered to have a meeting so they can talk with the group instead of writing answers. It's interesting that the questions aren't being answered. It's not a surprise, but it is an indication that they know they don't need to be bothered by concerned citizens.
But what if the elected County Board of Supervisors could ask for those answers in an open meeting? If Pattern Energy wants to be transparent, they would submit their answers to the county board.
Please remember that the turbines that are to be used for this Uplands Wind project are 650 ft tall with 3.5 megawatt generation for each of the 170 turbine locations they want to have. Just for reference, the turbines between Montfort and Cobb are 330 ft tall and 1.5 megawatt.
Also remember that the regulations for the setback distance from nonparticipating land owners hasn't been updated since 2014. The Wind Siting Council hasn't met nor issued the every 5 year report to the legislature that state statute 196.378(4g) in 2009 Wisconsin Act 40 indicates.
It appears that the current governorship has allowed the Wind Siting Council to lapse, which brings up my concern about Pattern Energy not feeling they need to answer questions. Could it be they already hold what they need...to take?
