Iowa County Neighbors;
Tis' the season of giving! Are you looking for a way to give of yourself to your community? We have an opportunity for you to consider.
The Seniors United for Nutrition (SUN) program, also known as Meals on Wheels, is looking for volunteers to deliver hot meals to folks in the area. Many volunteers partner with a friend or family member and drive one or more days each week. Folks receiving the meals are grateful for both the healthy meal and the social interaction. As drivers, you will get a lot of satisfaction from this simple act of caring and giving to others.
The SUN program is currently in need of drivers any day, Monday-Friday, and on a variety of routes within Iowa County. They will be able to match you up with a route and a schedule that works for you!

As retired teachers and relatively new volunteer drivers, we assure you that you will experience the joy and satisfaction of giving in this way; we feel we are receiving gifts, too!
