You should be concerned

Dear Editor;
Why aren't more residents of Iowa County concerned about the Pattern Wind Turbine project?
Area residents should be standing up for their rights and not let big power companies change our view forever. Why should we let the minority overrule the majority? I cannot believe that the majority of the population of Iowa County is for this project.
Look at Seymore Township! Take a drive and think about how those turbines are going to look in our area. There are many health issues related to wind turbines. Pay attention people before Pattern has their way and ruins our countryside. Think about your friends and neighbors and how these turbines would affect them, not just yourself. This size of project should need the general publics approval. This affects everyone!
Please contact your county board supervisor and push to update our wind ordinace. You can also contact your representatives at the state level. Get the facts at No-Uplands.com. Don't sit back and think someone else is going to handle it for you - stand up for your rights and speak up! There are already test sites in the area - don't think that it's not serious. Pattern will be here to stay if they get their way. Money isn't everything, save our rural landscape for the future.
