Jodeanne E. Carter, age 70, of Highland, passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at UW Hospital in Madison following a brief illness. Jodeanne was born on May 21, 1957 in Dodgeville to Lloyd and Ruth (Palan) Carter. She was a 1969 graduate of Highland High School and received a degree in Textiles from MATC. Jodeanne worked at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, for forty years. She retired to Highland in 2017. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing reading and birdwatching.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bill and Randy Carter and two nephews, Bill Carter Jr. and Mike Carter.

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Highland EMS or the Highland Fire Department would be greatly appreciated.
