Dear Editor:
I've never really liked Donald Trump. He appeared so crass and rude!
What kind of a leader would he be for our country? When I saw how biased most of the media was, I knew I had to stop listening, start thinking for myself and learn the truth.
I watched him closely and I couldn't believe it - he was keeping his promises!
Here are a few that were most important to me:
• Law and order - he opposes the riots and supports law enforcement (a lot!), just like I do.
• COVID response - against public opinion, he announced travel restrictions to and from China on January 31st, saving countless lives, not to mention continuing efforts toward a vaccine and cures.
• Economy - lowest unemployment in 50 years, especially for minorities and women. This was before the pandemic. Watch the economy now - he's doing it again!
• He lowered our taxes.
• Trump's rebuilding of our military is serving to keep our nation safe. He is also bringing our troops home!
• He is replacing "made in China" with "made in the USA".
• He has made our country energy independent.
And the list goes on. Search "list of Trump accomplishments". You might be surprised.
You don't have to like Donald Trump, but I hope you find a way to learn both sides of the story.
