Dodge-Point soccer gets lopsided with against RC


Dodge-Point United started their season with a lot of scoring and turned back Richland Center 10-0 Tuesday.
"It was a really good win," said veteran coach Kyle Glynn who took the Dodge-Pointers into action with only a week of preparation and two days between the raindrops.
The DP team broke the ice at 3:07 when Owen McDonald scored his first of three goals off an assist by Zach Bisbach.
Christian Jacobson scored next at 5:26 with Tyler Bradley giving him the pass for an assist.
The DP squad was able to ring up another goal before halftime as Bisbach scored at 9:00 off Luke Unbehan's assist.
Seven second half goals kept the ball with the DP team most of the night.
Bisbach after taking a pass from Unbehaun at 3:00. McDonald got his second goal of the night at the five minute mark. Yonael Navarro stepped up with a goal on a Zach Rochon assists at 30:00.
McDonald got his third goal of the game at the 33 minute mark.
The DP squad closed out the night with a goal at 26:00 by Drew Hottenstein with an assist by Malachi Strompolis. Strompolis then fed Bisbach for a score at 40:-00 and scored himself with Bisbach's help at 41:00.
Zach Breuer was in the goal for DP for the night had recorded three saves.
The United returns to the field Thursday when they host Prairie du Chien.
