We need a change

Dear Editor:
We all want a better life. Where our families can own their own home, have clean air, clean water, and a healthy environment. Of course, a good education for all our children.
Now, many of these dreams are in jeopardy. The many years of the Republican stranglehold on our Wisconsin state legislature keeps this from moving forward. I'm supporting Kriss Marion for State Assembly. Kriss works for what she believes in -- as a Wisconsin Farmers Union president, as a Chamber of Commerce member, and as a County Supervisor. She has experience.
SW Wisconsin does not need any more years of the Republican control. Basically, dictated and followed from Madison with Assembly Speaker Robin Vos.. Since 2010, the population in two-thirds of the state's rural counties has decreased, leading to a shrinking workforce, fewer jobs and businesses, and slower income growth rates than in metro counties. More than 70 rural schools have closed, and for the past three years the state has led the country in family-farm bankruptcies.
We need a change. Kriss Marion will help all of us. Let's put the needs of our rural communities where they should be. Better for the farmers, our children, small businesses, with a clean, safe environment.
