Barneveld's first year volleyball coach Martina Reuter saw what she was hoping for when the Golden Eagles took on Six Rivers East power Black Hawk.
She saw the girls compete and actually win one of four sets with the Lady Warriors.
"It was a fun game!" Reuter said enthusiastically after the match.
"Our team had great energy and played well," the coach said. "It was our best game yet this season."
"Our team will continue to grow and hopefully will harness this energy for the remainder of our season," Reuter added. "I am very proud of our team. They did a great job tonight and I hope they keep it up.
Scores against Black Hawk were 7-25, 25-20, 8-25 and 19-25.
