Dear Editor:
In reference to last weeks articles about wearing masks, I have some
questions.Is it your "choice" to wear a mask or not?
Yes.
Is there an executive order by our lawfully elected Governor Evers to wear masks until November 21?
Yes
Then, should President Trump, by his law and order policy, make sure that the order to wear masks be enforced?
Yes
It has been reported that the Wisconsin cities with the highest spikes in coronavirus positive cases are largely college towns. Do you think that college students, in their gatherings at parties and bars, are wearing masks and practicing social distancing? Doesn't that indicate that wearing masks and safe distancing could control the virus, as the scientists claim? What about other public gatherings?
I was very pleased to see that on the sport team pictures, for the most part, Dodgeville, Mineral Point, and River Valley students all wore masks, even while playing volleyball. The Dodger football and Dodge-Point cross country teams chose social distancing on their group pictures.
Please be mindful citizens. Wear masks!
