Barneveld's girls volleyball team won their Six Rivers East season opener with a 3-1 showing with Albany Thursday.
Match scores were 25-17, 18-25, 25-21 and 25-13.
First year coach Martina Reuter was pleased with the effort, especially from the Golden Eagles seniors.
"All of our seniors had a great match," Reuter said. "It was a great first win for our team and we look forward to getting stronger through the season."
