Dear Editor;
As I write this I am hoping the elections are over and we can discuss something more interesting; boys high school sports in Dodgeville.
Other than cross country and a few events in track we have been a huge disappointment. I know soccer had some success this year, but like the other two sports they are co-ops with Mineral Point.
Basketball, golf, baseball, wrestling, and football very seldom compete for conference titles. That in my opinion has a lot to do with our lack of weight training. The next time you go to one of these events, look at the other teams. We are smaller and weaker. As coaches, players, and parents we need to make sure our fantastic fitness center is being used. If not, we will be the team everyone wants to play against.
