Dear Editor;
If you want to see the result of electing more Democrats to public office, look at the rioting in Madison this past summer. There were plenty of law enforcement officers (Capitol Police, Campus Police, City of Madison Police, and Dane County Deputies) ready to stop the rioting. But while government buildings were damaged, statues torn down, and private businesses vandalized, these law enforcement officers... did nothing.
The police were told to 'stand down' by the Democrat leadership of Madison because the rioters were the militant constituents of the Democrat Party. The Democrat leadership opted to protect their own and adopted a shameful silence and attitude of criminal negligence while the rights of citizens were being violated. So, when you hear Democrats talk about justice, what they are really saying is 'just-us'.
