Dear Editor;
Every election cycle, professional politician Novak pushes the same lie, claiming that he's a moderate who casts his votes in the Assembly both for and against the positions directed by his GOP leadership. Don't be fooled.
The facts: (1) in his current term in office, Novak voted 100% in line with VOS; (2) he has never publicly criticized Trump or Vos on any issue or action; (3) Novak has been lockstep with Trump and VOS in their efforts to eliminate expanded Medicare, eliminate the Affordable Care Act and push voter suppression; and (4) he has consistently joined their opposition to all public health measures designed to limit the spread of Covid. Like them, he has refused to pursue ANY legislation to help small businesses, farms, public schools, and local government survive the pandemic.
While our residents and their businesses fall prey to the virus, Novak has refused to even ask his GOP leadership to get the Legislature back in session since April. Instead of doing anything the past 6-7 months to address the pandemic and the devastation it's inflicting, he just draws his $52,999 taxpayer-funded salary and watches the residents in this District suffer.
If you like Trump and VOS and ugly attack ads, Novak's your guy. If, however, you think it's time for change and want someone with a positive agenda who will actually work for ALL of us, vote for Kriss Marion in the Assembly District 51 race.
