Is the man in the White House so afraid of truth that he hides any information he can? Recently many wonder why we are not hearing from the world's greatest pandemic scientists in the Center for Disease Control.
It's not only the research center for our nation, but it shares scientific data with much of the world. Lately the CDC remains mute. Dr. Redfield, the CDC's head, remains largely silent, as Trump spews nonsense. What we saw from the CDC recently were the recommendations to the meatpacking plants throughout the Midwest: recommendations with no
firm requirements, only remarks like "if it is feasible", which of course most companies would ignore. Trump, in typical ignorance, used the Defense Protection Act, ordering slaughterhouses to remain open without stipulations for the safety and care of workers. Nebraska may be worst off, with a Governor refusing to publicize how many people have tested sick. We also know that Nebraska has failed to test anyone in rsing homes, whose numbers will probably remain hidden.
Now the CDC's new 17-page guidelines informing states, communities and businesses on how best to address what faces them, has been reportedly declared by Trump never "to see the light of day". Does he not realize that all his misdeeds only force the country into a disastrously increasing loss of life and deeper financial collapse? Because of Trump's continued missteps, that is sadly where the country may be heading.
