Dodgeville Wrestling earns W in River Valley match
The Dodgers started off the match, and had five pins from RJ Veinberg (170), Riley Crook (182), Jacoby Dressler (195), Brighton Judd (220), and Louden Foustenberg (285). Despite a tough fall match for Colin Judd at 106, Tristan Jones was able to respond with a pin in his match against Braden Prochaska, followed by another pin for Thomas Lundell at 126.
Other wins came from Austin Phelan (138), and Elijah Reeson (152).
"We knew they had some tough kids come out but to be able to get that momentum early was great," Dodger coach Ryan Lord said. "I think overall the guys kept pretty good position and that was great to see.
The Dodgers were going to Belmont Saturday, but the tournament was cancelled Saturday due to weather. They will travel and face Prairie du Chien tonight, action starts at 7 p.m.
