Dear Editor:
My name is Helmuth Krause, I am an 87 year old partly retired farmer, also a disabled veteran. I help my son with field work, take care of 50 cows and some young stock. In the winter I cut wood for cooking maple syrup in the spring. In the summer in my spare time I grow a big garden, enough for the family and sell some to pay for plant and seed. The rest goes to the local food pantry. My goal is a half ton a year but this year it was around 1600 lbs.
What do I want?
I was honesty and integrity in our justice system (equal justice for all). I would like to see some laws passed that would have oversight on corrupt judges, lawyers and D.A.S. that thumb their noses at the laws and the constitution and make their own to favor their cronies. As in case No. 08.CV.87 in Grant county. Dale Schultz supposedly left some paper work on a law, plus a copy of the court proceedings in Marklein's office when he left the senate. If you try to talk to Marklein, you get what amounts to the finger. The same for the other side. Now Pocan has no time for the little guy and is a total bigot but that it what motivates me to keep going. I grew up as a young school boy during World War 2. We saw what happened in Germany when people seen as less worthy were targeted and nobody spoke up for them. It was beaten in our heads in both the home and school that we must speak up when evil happens. Also as school children, in the spring we planted a pine tree in the school yard for each young man from the area that was killed in the war so that what was happening over there would never happen here. I can't betray these men. I just can't. What is so sad about this is now when you speak up, you are ridiculed or portrayed as some kind of nut, none more than the politicians and some of the new people. Did these young men die in vain? Also, the brave ladies who no one would listen to either, but they kept up the fight and finally through social media and the Me Too movement, they smoked out the S.O.B. My objective is to do the same. Please help.
