Going into the WIAA Division 4 Regional final with Seneca, the Highland volleyball team knew they were in for a battle.
The Cardinals were able to grab one set from the Indians but eventually fell in four sets.
Scores were 13-25, 20-25, 27-25 and 10-25.
"We didn't ever really get into the swing of things with our offense," coach Maria Wineski said. "We didn't get to use our hitters and when we did, Seneca got touches on everything. They have two great outside hitters that our blockers were working really hard at stopping them, but they found their way through. The girls played their hearts out and left it all on the court which is all we can ask."
"I am definitely going to miss our seniors and I wish them the best of luck on the basketball court and softball diamond, said Wineski.
