I guess I thought it wasn't strange that I would have a blonde be attracted to me as much as I have never been to a Chili's Restaurant!

I see the laundromat sign on the building on the corner of Main, Iowa and Spring Streets says "Full laundromat service coming soon"! That's something that is really needed in Dodgeville - great to hear!

We lost out Atzlan Mexican Restaurant that was located in Cobblestone Court, corner of Iowa and Chapel Streets. They closed up a week ago Tuesday. The good news though is there is another restaurant interested in locating there or maybe another business!

I did my first full game stint in the concession stand at Centennial Park Sunday. It was a very nice day for a ball game and the Knights Home Talent team won. I was pretty tired after it was finished, but I made it to two graduation parties for a few minutes each. I couldn't hold up for the third. I went home and crashed and I slept very soundly that night though!

Dodgeville's graduation is the final one from our coverage area and it's this Sunday starting at 1:30 p.m. Congratulations to all the graduates!

This Saturday morning is the Iowa County Dairy Breakfast - the first of many dairy breakfast celebrations around the state in June. This one is at the Iowa County Fairgrounds in Mineral Point and starts at 6:30 a.m., running until 10:30. It's a fun event for the entire family with good food and lots of fun events!

I was heading back to the Chronicle office the other dar from Centennial Park and a young woman was standing at the Hotel Higbee corner waiting to cross the street going towards Kwik Trip. Two Wisconsin licensed cars didn't stop for her that were coming towards me. I stopped as did an Illinois licensed vehicle coming from the other direction!
