Dear Editor:
As a long-time public school teacher, and as a parent and grandparent, I care about our public schools. For that reason I support Jessica (Thuli) Wieczorek's candidacy for the Dodgeville District School Board.
I have gotten to know Jessica from working together as volunteers. She is an organized, smart, hard-working volunteer you can count on to follow through and do what she says she'll do. She has a great mix of grit, personality and tact, with valuable experience in business and education. That mix enables her to connect with people who have differing perspectives and help forge common ground.
I am also impressed with the wisdom of her publicly described vision for addressing the challenges facing the Dodgeville public school system. With young children in the school system, she cares.
