The Southwest District all-district team and the WBCA all-state team includes several players from this area.
Named to first team all-district were Highland senior infielder Drew Hennessey along with Pecatonica senior infielder Colton Schraepfer.
Grady Gorgen leads the list of three Mineral Point players named to the first team as the junior was honored at D4 Player of the Year. He is listed as an outfielder. Sophomore infielder Liam Stumpf and junior catcher Justin Baehler were also honored on the first team.
Dodgeville sophomore catcher Anthony Vivian was named to the second team all-district. Joining him on second team are Pecatonica pitcher and senior Carter Ruegsegger along with Mineral Point senior pitcher Curtis Cox and junior utility player Isaac Lindsey.
Making the list for all-state was Stumpf on second team, Hennessey on third team, Baehler, Gorgen and Schraepfer on honorable mention. Lindsey was named to the all-academic team.
