Learn about Alzheimer's research

Dear Editor:
I wanted to share this important "find" with your readers.
Dementia Matters (a podcast brought to you by the University of Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center) is dedicated to exploring the many aspects of dementia and Alzheimer's disease, for anyone and everyone interested in learning more.
The host of this series is Dr. Nathaniel Chin, a geriatrician, memory clinic doctor, and director of medical services for the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Research Center. His father's diagnosis with early onset Alzheimer's disease inspired him to pursue a career as a geriatrician and scientist focused on dementia prevention, especially in regard to Alzheimer's disease.
His hope is to strengthen the bridge between the research at UW and the community it's designed to help. "I want to humanize the science behind this disease because at the end of all this, it's about the people."
He will be hosting a number of different guests from researchers to caregivers and everything in between. The eight to 23 minute episodes providing you with updates on the latest research findings and offering guidance on ways you can fight back against the disease.
Some episode topics include:
"A Look Inside a Brain with Alzheimer's Disease"
"The Potential for Predicting Alzheimer's Disease through a Blood Test"
"What It Takes to "Become a Demential Friendly Hospital"
