Dear Editor;
Jeff Wright is just the right kind of fresh face we need to represent us in the 51st Assembly District. His opponent has an unacceptable history of misrepresenting us.
If Jeff Wright had been in office the last couple of years you can bet he would not have approved of Governor Walker's refusal of a billion dollars (yes, billion) of no-strings-attached federal money to expand medical coverage for Wisconsin citizens.
Such lack of concern for the people of Wisconsin must never be forgotten. And Jeff Wright won't forget. At almost every stump speech, Jeff asks: "We're the richest country in the world. Why can't we solve this problem ?" We can, but we need forward--thinking, tireless legislators like Jeff Wright will be.
Another of Jeff's strong points is his background in the education field. For the last few years he served as Asst. Superintendent in the Sauk Prairie Public School System. In that position he received numerous honors for his educational achievements. Meanwhile, his opponent followed the ultra conservative line of starving the public schools while enriching private and voucher schools.
Jeff Wright is a forward-looking young man who recognizes that state-wide improvements also need to be made in road repairs, high-speed internet service, drinking water quality, and environmental concerns.
Let's make things right...with Jeff Wright!
