Cardinals' teamwork pays dividends at NC

Highland's girls basketball team has been making working together an emphasis and Friday it paid off in a big way.
With everyone scoring and three girls in double figures the Cardinals put it in cruise control early and coasted to a 75-26 win over North Crawford in a non-conference match-up between the two schools.
Carlee Kosharek scored all 13 of her points the first half to send Highland to a 42-8 lead at intermission. She also had five rebounds.
Madalyn Drury again led the Cardinals with 14 points and freshman Meg Tarrell came off the bench to add 12.
"It was good to see everyone score," said coach Josh Tarrell. "We got off to a good start offensively and got some nice looks in transition. That was keyed by some strong rebounding by Myah Hennessey - who had a nice inside game."
"It was a nice win for us," Tarrell said.
