This Sunday is Easter but you did not need me to tell you that.
Easter is a time to reflect on many things, with the most important in the Christian world, the glory of Jesus Christ. Easter is when Jesus rose from the dead, a miracle of the most important kind.
Easter is also a very important time for family. It is a time when the seasons are changing and warm weather settles in. It is a time when families can sit back and spend time both inside and outside. It is a time when kids can spend time with their parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. It is a time of catching up and talking about the future.
But while whatever celebration goes on, let's remember that Christ died for us and has promised us everlasting life.
That is what makes Easter the special time that it is.
