Barneveld's softball team began their 2018 campaign with a resounding 11-1 six-inning win over Mount Horeb Thursday.
Eagle hurler Audrey Hendrickson fanned six Lady Vikings and allowed just four hits in earning the win. She also drove in a run. She had two of her team's 10 hits.
Jamie Kelly and Grace Gordon supplied the power with thre runs batted in each. Both players also came up with two hits. Gordon, as did both Kyla Ihm and Kennedy Barsness, coaxed two walks.
