It comes down to trust
It is also what is needed for a winning country. It is something our country seems to be lacking.
Obviously in a two party system there will be some disagreement but it should not be every time an issue presents itself. That wastes everyone's time and our tax money.
I try to feel good about things when it comes to all levels of government but I often come away shaking my head. It also comes down to trust. It is hard to trust when there is little cooperation.
It wasn't that long ago that I had a better feeling about our political system. I could identify with a party and their goals. Unfortunately, at least for me, I don't feel that way now.
I plan to do what I can to start feeling better about the direction our country is taking. I hope government meets me at least halfway.
