Don married Diana Thompson July 27, 1968 on his birthday. Diana handmade her own wedding gown which she still owns today. A special day they will always cherish.
They were married in Mineral Point, WI at the First United Methodist Church. They lived in Mineral Point and raised their family there until 2016 when they moved to Monroe, WI.
Don and Diana plan to celebrate their milestone quietly with family as Don is recovering from a recent knee replacement and heart bypass surgery.
They have 3 children Heidi (Steve)Nelson, Mineral Point; Kate (Derek) Carpenter Monroe, WI and Mathew (Lisa) Mullen Darlington, WI. They are proud grandparents to 11 wonderful grandchildren and one Doggie Child, Bandit the Yorkie.
