Dodgers win tourney at Belmont
Titles came almost in a row from John Phelan at 160, Joey Recob at 170, Zack Weber at 182 and Shelby Jones at 285.
"Although there was not a lot of depth at the tournament, I was happy with how our team performed and it was great to get our varsity and reserves competition at the same tournament," said Dodger coach Ryan Lord. "I figured going in that Reedsburg would be the team to beat and I was happy to see us finish ahead of them. Individually the Dodgers were led by 1st place finishers Riley Crook, John Phelan, Joey Recob, Zack Weber, and Shelby Jones. Finishing as runner-ups were Noah Durst and Louden Fuerstenberg. Finishing in 3rd were Dylan Roen, Eli Reeson, Tyler Bell, Tanner Bell and Jonathon Geisking."
The Dodgers next competitions include a Thursday night dual at Prairie du Chien followed by a make-up Parents' night home dual against Richland Center on Tuesday.
