Hannah Jones was on a roll for the Dodgeville girls basketball team in a 66-29 win over River Valley in SWC play Friday night.
Jones hit 12 of her game-high 22 points in the first half and then popped in 10 more playing only part of period two.
She hit a pair of three pointers and added eight steals on the night - many leading to easy layups.
She was ably assisted by eight teammates also reaching the scoring column.
Freshmen Olivia Argall and JoJo Heimerl both had 14 points to be other players reaching double digits.
The Dodgers held a commanding 36-10 lead at the midway point and never looked back.
"We struggled with their press," said River Valley coach Brent Johnson. "Some of our closeouts were good. Give Dodgeville credit - they have the kids who can score."
"They are playing as well as any team, in our conference. They are ranked for a reason," he added.
In anticipation of down the road, Johnson said, "Hopefully we can make a push into February."
The Lady Blackhawks were led in scoring by sophomore Tienna Gruber with eight point. Junior Riley Feiner added seven.
"Tonight I felt we rotated well on the back end," said Dodger coach Josh Busch. "We made the ball be moved and jumped it when we had the opportunity. That's our best offense."
The Dodgers totaled 21 steals on the night.
"Everybody played and everybody contributed," he added. "It was nice to see Emma (Niemeier) knock down a three and Caitlyn Blume score. Those kids do a lot of work in practice and sometimes don't get much playing time on the floor."
