Pointers pummel Boscobel


Mineral Point's boys basketball team jumped to a 44-17 lead at halftime over visiting Boscobel and went on for an 80-44 win in SWAL play Thursday night.
Brayden Dailey scored 19 o his game high 26 points in the second half that the Pointers won 36-27.
Liam Stumpf came off the bench and popped in 14 points with 12 of them coming in the first half.
Isaac Lindsey scored all 10 of his points in period one.
In all, 11 of their 14 players scored.
"We received contributions from a lot of different players," said Pointer coach Dan Burreson. "Mason Dailey shot the ball well, knocking down a couple threes. Garrett Wendhausen was aggressive on the boards and lead the team with 7 rebounds. Brayden Dailey shot it well, especially in the second half."
"I though we received big minutes off of the bench from Liam Stumpf, Justin Baehler, Blaise Watters and Grant Bossert," the coach added. "Liam made really good decisions and shot it well. Justin had 6 rebounds off the bench. Blaise gave us great energy and Grant played well all around."
"Eleven guys scored tonight and I thought everyone contributed to the victory," Burreson concluded.
Bosocbel's Jake Davidson hit 17 points to lead their offense.
