Senior Living 2020?

For those that wonder whatever happened to the Senior Living 2020 plans for Bloomfield their minutes reflect they met only three times in 2018.
1/18 ask Elder Span to work with Upland Hills Health to run various scenarios for cash flow projections
5/24 discussed the number of bed licenses that would be needed in the future if a merger were to occur with Upland Hills Health. Bloomfield Committee had been discussing downsizing. (Note the county board has voted to reduce Bloomfield to 50 beds).
10/3 Chairman Meyers told the committee he, Administrator Bierke and hospital staff had been meeting about every six weeks (no details in minutes). He noted the hospital is working to acquire land. He also noted the county's plan is to partner with Upland Hills to file for non-profit status.
Legal Counsel Matt Allen said because county government has limited "Administrative Home Rule" powers he may have to contact the Attorney General's Office asking whether the county can participate in this type of non-profit.
The Senior Living 2020 Committee is tentatively scheduled to meet 12/11/2018.
