At times that showed prolifically both ways and at times play showed a lot of promise both ways.
The Dodgers won the contest 58-44.
Dodgeville freshman Olivia Argall scored the first points of the game on a drive from the left side, but the Pointers responded jumping to a 6-2 lead.
It was Dodgedville's turn to respond and the quickly went up 12-6 and really never looked back. They led 29-17 at the intermission.

The Pointers' Morgan James connected on seven points while Mara Aschliman and Dana Schmitz both had four in that firrst half.
The Dodgers pushed their lead to in the 20s with the Pointers puting on a charge at the end to cut the margin of victory to 14.
Aschliman led a balanced Poionter scoring attack with 10 points while Payton Ross and Nicole Johnson both hit eight points, all coming for both in the second half.
Dodgeville coach Josh Busch said, "We go from having a young team last year to being even younger this year."
The Dodgers started two freshmen, a sophomore and two seniors.
"Our shots weren't going in at the start, but I told the girls not to worry they would start going in," he added. "This is probably the most balanced team we've had. I figure it will be a different person stepping up each night. We will settle in more the next couple of games."
"I felt we ran our transition offense well tonight and our half court helped against their run in the first half. Defensively our help rotated pretty solid and our bench players did a nice job later in the game."
Pointer coach Mitch Wainwright pointed out that, "Dodgeville forced us to play at their tempo and that was something we didn't want to do. It was our first game and we weren't ready for their transition game. They kept us off balance and we dribbled into traffic too often."
The coach added, "We found some things we need to work on, but we also found some things we did well."
