Dodgers tripped up in seventh vs Lancaster

Dodgeville's high school baseball team was tied with Lancaster after six innings in the second game of a double header Tuesday but a run in the bottom of the seventh gave the game to the Flying Arrows.

Zack Weber finished the inning walking one and striking out one.
Branden Molldrem faced three batters before giving way to Caleb Chappell who fanned one and surrendered two hits, one giving the Arrows the win.
Wayne Larson Jr was 3x3 for the Dodgers and drove in two runs.
The Dodgers scored a pair in the second when Shelby Jones was hit by a pitch, Tanner Bockhop reached on an error and Weber sent Jones and courtesy runner Cooper Stewart home with a single.

Twelve Dodger errors told the story of their 11-4 loss to Viroqua in a non-conference game Thursday.
To put the game in perspective the Blackhawks only had one earned run and that was a home run by Dalton Burkhardt in the fifth inning.
Brandon Molldrem worked 4 1/3, fanned two, walked three and spaced seven hits. He gave up 10 runs, one earned.
Tanner Bockhop went 1 2/3, gave up one hit, walked one and surrendered an unearned run.

Wayne Larson jr's two run single in the third plated Caleb Chappell who singled and Jack Hellmann who doubled.
Houston Stanek, Cooper Stewart and Tanner Bockhop loaded the bases with singles in the fourth. Chappell and Hellmann drove in two with sac flys.
Hellmann was 2x2 with two doubles. Stanek was 2x2 with Bockhop, Chappell, Weber, Larson and Stewart all getting one hit.
Friday the Dodgers lost to league leading Prairie du Chien 9-0 in a game closer than the score indicated.
The Dodgers trailed 2-0 into the fifth before the Blackhawks took advantage of a drawn in infield and scored five runs. They added two more in the sixth.
Riley Glonek had a gem going until the Blackhawks figured him out in the fifth. Caleb Chappell finished.
