Dodge-Point soccer wins two


The Dodge-Point girls soccer team won their home match Thursday evening against Adams-Friendship 4-1.
Scoring for Dodge-Point were Kristen Palmer, Cassara Carey, Katie Wilson and Hayley Elsner.
Keeper Katie Valeria had 10 saves.
Tuesday, the Dodge-Point girls beat River Valley in a home match at Harris Park, winning 7-3.
The top scorer for the evening was Mazie Baldus with four goals, followed by Hayley Elsner, Kristen Palmer, and Samara Breuer with one each.
Cassara Carey also had two assists and Makayna Lemanski had one assist.
Valeria had nine saves.
"This team keeps getting better every week. I don't think they've played their best game yet," said Dodge-Point coach Erik Bakken. "We just keep seeing new and better things from everyone on the team."
River Valley goals came on two from Tiffany Limmex and one from Kaitlyn Armstrong.
Makenzie Vanderheyden had one assist.
