Felix and Coletta Munz, Avoca, will celebrate their 70th anniversary with an open house hosted by their children on Sunday, April 9, 2017 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Red Zone in Highland. Friends and relatives are invited.
They were married on Monday, April 7, 1947 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Highland by Fr. Louis Schuering. They continue to live on the family farm between Avoca and Highland which has been in the Munz family since 1862. They have five children: Joyce (Lyle) Hach, Cathy (Steve Whitsitt), Jim (Lynn), Ruth (Tom Kalinke) and Bruce (Debbie); ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
