Barneveld fought off an early lead by Juda with a 12-0 run and went on to claim a 52-34 win over the Panthers in Division 5 regional semifinal play Friday night.
Juda led 8-7 before the Eagles rattled off 12 straight. They outscored the Panthers 7-6 the rest of the first half for a 26-14 lead at the intermission.
Nine girls reached the scoring column for Barneveld, led by senior Abigail Sutter's 13 points. She sat out part of the contest as she fell hard to the floor in the first half.
Sutter was the only Eagle to reach double figures.
Juda junior guard Mackenzie Bryne led them with 12 points, including a pair of three pointers.
Something that hurt the Panthers was the fact they made just two of 12 free throws on the night.
"We had Sutter and Courtney (Skaife) in foul trouble early and we were struggling some so I gambled and put both of them back in and they did a good job," said Barneveld coach Doug Pickarts.
The Barneveld press caused Juda some problems getting the ball across mid-court and when they did, they seemed to hurry their shots.
"Our kids are so athletic so we forced some turnovers and got some baskets off of those," the coach said. "Teegan (Pickarts) was not quite on her game tonight and got into a little foul trouble too."
We came out the second half playing really well," Pickarts pointed out. "Offensively we didn't move well, but we did enough to sustain."
He also said, "Jess (Walker) is a great leader of our offense. Maybe she doesn't score a lot, but she distributes the ball so well. With her, Courtney and Abigail you couldn't ask for three better guards.
The win put them in the regional title game the next night against Rio.
