Eagles remain unbeaten, whip Juda

Barneveld seniors Matthew Myers and Mike Zouski both hit in double figures as the Eagles routed Juda 62-32 Friday night in Six Rivers East boys basketball play.
Myers popped in 16 of his points in the first half as Barneveld built up a 42-19 lead and remained unbeaten on the season.
They are 4-0 in SRE and 8-0 on the year.
"Our pressure really wore them down early," said Barneveld coach Jim Myers. "We dropped the press and that took us out of rhythm. Juda is a team that had scored 92 points earlier. They went on a little run. That's when Jacob (Slaney) made a free throw and we got it going again."
"We have to play defense when we're out of our press too," he added. "I felt our bench gave us some goog minutes in the first half. We ran some good offense with our second group out there too. This was a good win for us against a very good team."
Juda senior Matt Schmitt led the Panthers with 11 points.
